If you have ever been on the market for a new case, your be aware of there being an absolute HUGE choice! A common choice is a Lian-Li case, but these can cost money. Well, now we see a case with all the looks, but none of the price.

Right, now you know the minor details, time to take a detailed look at the case!

From the image above you can see the case is relativly good looking. It may have a slight square aspect, but in general the first glance is a promsing one.

From the front you can see the drive bays, power and reset swtiches. The font drive bay covers come off/on easily, simply press by the left and right hand side they come off/on. The floppy bay has a build in slot, and you can also see at the bottom, another bay. This bottom bay is a 5.24", you can use it for a CD-ROM drive if you wanted! Or, as this is a server a case, you could fit in a HDD caddy :D. As you can see, the case is here for stealth, espcially with the floppy drive slot, but we also see something very unique to this case! The top bay, notice anything? Well its a stealth drive bay. Its on a hingest mechansism. At first I was a bit scepticle, but after fitting my rig in the case, I found it works great :D

Moving around to the back of the case:

    Back of the case

The case supports a P4 mobo, and also comes with a P4 I/O panel. There are 7 blanking panels, pretty standard, so you will have enough space for your cards! You have a space for a rear 80mm fan, and also the PSU space is ready and waiting :D.

    Moving into the case:

    Inside it dude

First thing im going to comment on, is the amount of 3.5" bays! This advertised as a "server" case, so its going to have a few bays. Got lots of HDDs? Then this case is for you! Anyway, you can just see 2 80mm fan slots. I fitted 2 on there, to see if I could fit my HDD in without the fans getting in the way, you can, so no problem at all :)

    Motherboard tray

Lets take a look at the a motherboard tray. Fits a standard ATX motherboard, and if you fiddle a bit you can fit a AT motherboard in there. You get LOADS of screws and motherboard mounts to make your motherboard secure. BUT (here it comes!), the damn thing is NOT removable :(. This is possibly because it is a "server" case, and AVGS (case manufacture) dont expect people to be changing the HSF of a server every few days! But still, I, and im sure everyone else likes to have the ability to take out the motherboard tray to easily add/change parts etc. You have to say to yourself, will I be changing hardware regulary, or do I want a nice looking case and not to bothered about removing bits, hmmm. Up to you, but I defo would like to see a removable motherboard tray. In the above pic you can just see the standard wires, power switch, reset, HDD activity and speaker wires.

    Peakabo!

I took a pic through the I/O panel :D. You can see the 2 80mm fan slots, plus the already made floppy drive bay.

Time for me to fit everyone in :D.

Doing so, is relativly easy. We all have our own ways of doing things, and the first thing I do is install the motherboard, PSU then all the drives. I had to screw in 5 more mounts to make sure the motherboard was securly in. Put enough in so the motherboard doesnt overly bend when you install new wires, cards etc.

Motherboard and PSU have a new home :D

Motherboard and PSU installed painlessly! Only problem I had, was with my PSU. Its an Enermax PSU, I dont know if this is just my particualar model, but it seems like theres hundreds upon hundreds of wires!!!! This is a problem when your using a smaller case. But as theres so many drive bays, and I dont plan on using all of those, our old friend the cable tie came in handy :D

    All in with ease

    There we go, all fitted!

    The summary

Here we see a case with much to offer. Lots of little features give it the edge! The general design and look of the case is not outstanding, but will certainly stand within the ranks of the Lian-Li cases and ohers. But the best part of this, is the price it is offered for. For just £59.92 including VAT and free delivery! Worth the money? Ohh yes!
