Thanks to Bart at 1CoolPC (www.1CoolPC.com) for sending me this to review. His customer service was excellent, couldn't ask for any better. The items arrived quickly considering they were coming from the US and its Christmas. Anyway on with the review :o)
The box was packaged well and nothing appeared to be damaged.

mmmm bubblewrap :)
My pcs Hard Disk (UDMA100 40Gb 7200rpm IBM Deskstar 60GXP) was getting quite warm, so I needed something to cool it down. Lets see how well the 1coolpc hard drive cooler works!
Lets get this badboy out the box..

The blue bit is a heatsink which means this HD cooler has an advantage over many others as it not only has fans cooling the HD but a heatsink for some extra help. The fans included are some tiny Evercools which appeared to push a lot of air considering they were so quiet I didn't even notice them. Also in the box was plenty of different screws for attaching the HD and putting it into your system. There were however no instructions. I managed to find some on 1coolpc's website but a small instruction card in the box would have been nice.

Heres a pic of what the other side of the cooler looks like
As you can see the fans are powered by a bog standard molex. The molex has a "pass through" thing, you plug the fan molex into the back of your hard disk and then plug the molex from the psu into that. A nice design I thought.
I finally got my HD fitted into the HD cooler properly. The screws attaching it together have springs in between them so its easy to adjust the screw positions if your hard disk is smaller or larger than the original setting.

It all fits nicely at the back..

The HD cooler fits into a 5 1/4" bay rather than having your HD in a 3 1/2" bay

I was able to simply slide in the whole cooler unit from the front

Included was a front bezel to neaten off the look and protect your fingers, etc from the fans
This sort of bezel will however look stupid in Lian-Li cases and others like it due to the curve, but if you've just got a standard case like mine, it looks fine.
Here we have the end result!
Pros:
- Fans are quiet and still push plenty of air
- The heatsink means it has an advantage over other HD coolers
- Was well packaged and included plenty of screws
Cons:
- No included instructions
- Front bezel won't look good in non standard beige/white cases
