First of all I would like to send out a warm thanks to PC-Memory-Upgrade.co.uk for lending us some review equipment :)

Much appreciated guys.

Right, onto business.

The competitors

The lineup

In our tests today we are comparing an OCZ PC2700 DDR Dimm, with a Samsung PC2700 DDR Dimm and my current memory, and a Crucial PC2100 DDR Dimm, which is my personal ram provided as a test reference. All are 256mb.

The system being used to test it on is :

  • Pentium 4 2.0ghz
  • Abit BD7-Raid
  • Geforce 3
  • Maxtor D740x 40gb Hard drive
Now the more astute of you may have noticed that my motherboard is a DDR266 motherboard and not a DDR333 motherboard.
Ooops.
We did the review anyway :)

Read on to see the results of testing the Crucial ram, making a reference test for the other two sticks of ram.
