Until now, it is known that there are a whole array of furniture built through various materials and one of them is none other than the common material, which is wood.

Even if the furniture is known as a wood furniture, there are actually many types of wood that are used to build furniture, so here are the other 5 out of 10 types of wood :

6. Oak
Oakwood is one of the most well-known types of wood currently used in the manufacturing of furniture. Normally covered in lots of marks,, shapes and lines, this grainy wood is mainly known for its light brown color blonde tint coloring. When used in furniture, this wood is heavy and durable and can be easily cut. With this type of wood, grain effect may be more prominent in some oak over the other of oak.

7. Pine tree
Pine is a very cheap wood and also a light-weight wood that comes in a light yellowish and light brown color. This wood, different from others, can be easily painted over and is regularly used for construction purposes, such as floors. This type of wood ages well and sees no contraction, swelling or discoloration effects occurred to it however it is, unfortunately, less durable than maple or oak.

Bamboo is known for its ecological character and beautiful blond color. The species is actually more to being a grass, rather than hardwood. Because of this, bamboo grows quickly and it grows about 10 times faster than hardwoods do. Bamboo also resists expansion and contraction. Its color also varies from very light to medium warm tone, but of course that features a soft blond color. This wood is also versatile for design, but is more common in contemporary interior design.
